Unabridged Audiobook
Loved this book and the narrators soothing voice. So much happens with so many different people that if you’re distracted for a few seconds you have to rewind it because you be missed something you need to know. A good story as well as being very educational to the disturbing past of the history of slavery to the ghettos of today. Things i already knew were confirmed, so heartbreakingly sad. Recommend this book
started well and a fascinating story, but then it's such a long sequence of characters coming in over and over, i eventually couldn't follow it anymore. i just dropped it 8hrs in. maybe if one can stick to it it all wraps up nicely
What a fantastic piece of litersture. This book takes you on a journey you won‘t regret. The narrator should have been an Ashanti because his butchering of Ashanti names and words was cringe-inducing. He however did have a pleasant sounding voice.
On my top three so far! And well choreographed! The write keeps the story line smoothly going despite shifting chapters between two different continents and a lot different time periods.
