Summary
The worldwide phenomenon continues as Eva and Gideon face the demons of their pasts and accept the consequences of their obsessive desires.…From the moment I first met Gideon Cross, I recognized something in him that I needed. Something I couldn’t resist. I also saw the dangerous and damaged soul inside—so much like my own. I was drawn to it. I needed him as surely as I needed my heart to beat.No one knows how much he risked for me. How much I’d been threatened, or just how dark and desperate the shadow of our pasts would become.Entwined by our secrets, we tried to defy the odds. We made our own rules and surrendered completely to the exquisite power of possession.…Praise for the Crossfire Series “A steamy read that will have you furiously flipping pages.” —Glamour“A highly charged story that flows and hits the mark.” —Kirkus Reviews

I love this series! I'm already hopping on the next book. I wish the voice for Gideon was an actual guy. Same for all the male roles because it kind of made me laugh that she would change her voice. But it was still a good story I enjoyed it.

Thank you Sylvia Day for the 3rd book in Eva and Gideon's story. I enjoy it when you take us out of New York but the way you describe NYC reminds me so much of my visits there I can almost smell the hot pretzel vendors on the corner. How can 2 people go through so much and still remain together?,True love and an awesome author that's how. can't wait to see what is coming in Book 4!

this was so horrible, I couldn't finish it. the narrator made it intolerable. she changed her voice, like reading to a child. bad actor.

I was going to send it back half way through but thought it would pick up but it never did. Not as good as the last 2. Not sure if I will continue with the series.

I love the series but I feel this book was to stretched like I could have done without some of the seems but it kept me hooked for the next book with all the new information we found out in this book

Terrible book! There' no plot! Big waste of time! No ending, we never find out what caused the night terrors? Maybe it's supposed to be continued in the next book but I'll never know because I refuse to waste another 10 hrs of my life on this author.

I enjoyed this book also and yes it left me hanging but I'm not mad with the author. I say that because I've read many other reviews on other sites and some readers seem angry because it didn't end or that it had fluff and fillers. I did think that Sylvia stretched it out a bit in some areas, but even so the book is good and I'm looking forward to the next 2 books (that's what I hear , that there are 2 more books) .I would like to know what's up with all the different characters. I hope the next one is released soon and we don't have to wait until next year.
