Until the day a beautiful, mysterious stranger walks into her life, and her carefully controlled world is shattered forever.

Christian McLoughlin is unlike anyone Ember has ever met. Wealthy, cultured, and utterly charismatic, he also has dark secrets of his own. They succumb to the undeniable pull between them and embark on a passionate affair, but things turn explosive when the truth about Christian and the reason he came to Barcelona is exposed. As their dark pasts collide, the two unlikely lovers find themselves caught in a web of danger and deceit that neither of them might survive.

Narrator was AWEFUL!! I couldn't listen anymore after a while. Gave the book a 3 but just from what I heard. I just couldn't take the narrator anymore and couldn't finish. It was painful

narrator was awful. ruined the whole book dragged out last word of every sentence. attempt of male voice was terrible too. Would have rather gotten the book from the library and read it myself. voice was terrible.

Great book but could have used a better narrator. Still, I would recommend this book.

I was so addicted to this book I finished it in two days. I just couldn't stop listening. The narration was poor when it came to the whole British accent. It was like taking your nails against a chalkboard. I rather have listen to Dick Van Dyke on Marry Poppins than the narrator trying to sound British. But overall I Loved it!!!! I would have paid for it even if it wasn't free but a great book to start off if you love the whole romantic creature stories.
